Arora announces Rs 20 lakh financial assistance to JKHCBA

JAMMU, May 28: Member Legislative Council (MLC) Ramesh Arora visited J&K High Court Bar Association (JKHCBA), Jammu and interacted with senior advocates and young members of the Bar.
During his discussion, many problems being faced by the lawyers’ fraternity were brought into his notice, particularly absence of a complete and full fledged library.
Ramesh Arora announced to extend financial assistance to JKHCBA, Jammu to the tune of Rs 20 lakh for any required project, be it a full fledged library or any other projects as per the requirement of the Association.
The meeting was attended by number of advocates including Abhinav Sharma, President, JKHCBA, Jammu, senior advocates AV Gupta, SK Shukla, Nirmal Kotwal, Onkar Seth, SS Ahmed, Rupinder Singh, Additional Advocate General, HA Sadiqqui, Rajesh Thappa, MP Singh Palli, etc.
Earlier, the welcome address was presented by AP Singh, General Secretary, J&K High Court Bar Association, Jammu.
