JAMMU, May 30: Principal of Maharaja Hari Singh Agricultural Collegiate (MHAC) Nagbani has been booked for sexual harassment of one of the school’s Primary Teachers (PRT).
As per police sources, a female PRT teacher of MHAC Nagbani lodged a written complaint of sexual harassment against the school Principal Alok Betab with police station Domana.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 158 under Section 506 and 509 RPC has been registered at Domana police station and investigation started.
When contacted, SHO Domana, Inspector Rajeshwar Singh confirmed the registration of FIR against the MHAC Principal Alok Betab.
“We are investigating the case and an arrest will be made in due course of time”, he added.
However, Principal obtained anticipatory bail from the court.
