Srinagar, May 31: Security forces arrested a close aide of most wanted Hizbul Mujahideen commander Burhan Wani from Tral area of South Kashmir.
On specific information, Police and Army apprehended Noor Mohammad Dar son of Abdul Aziz Dar of Gulshanpora Tral last night.
This is the second Burhan aide who was arrested since last week. Last week, Tariq Pandit was arrested from Pulwama.
On the information provided by Tariq, security forces have busted four hideouts so far and recovered large quantity of arms and ammunition.
The Army’s 44 RR and SOG Shopian busted a hideout in Yarwan forests of Shopian and recovered one AK47 filled magazine, one Chinese grenade, 76 rounds of AK 47, two used packets of mixtures, two biscuit packets, Maggie, one lighter, one First Aid kit, two Blankets, one Kerosene bottle.
