RAMBAN, May 31: Banihal police arrested an absconder, who was evading his arrest for the past six years.
As per police sources, a police team from Banihal police station conducted raid at Jammu and arrested an absconder, who was at large since 2010.
The accused has been identified as Shamas Din Gujar, son of Gafoor Gujar a resident of Khanda Madana, Birpur.
He was involved in a case registered under FIR Number 119/2010 under Section 188 RPC and 3 PCA Act with police station Banihal.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
Police team led by SHO Banihal police station, Inspector Nazir Ahmed Dar made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Banihal, Mohammad Rafiq and SSP Ramban, Randeep Kumar.
