DODA, May 31: A doctor received injuries, when the Maruti car he was driving, skidded-off the road and plunged into gorge near Suigawadi area, falling under the jurisdiction of Doda police station.
The ill-fated vehicle bearing registration number JK02N-3848 was on its way to Kishtwar from Jammu, when the driver lost control over the vehicle and it plunged into 40 feet deep gorge near Suigawadi area, resulting into injuries to the driver.
After getting information, police team rushed to the spot and shifted the injured person to District Hospital, where he was responding to the treatment, when reports last came in.
The injured has been identified as Dr Shadab Gagroo son of Abid Gagroo, a resident of Kishtwar. The victim is a veterinary assistant surgeon by profession.
A case has been registered in this regard at Doda police station and investigation started.
