JAMMU, May 31: Zila Sainik Welfare Officer (ZSWO), Jammu of Sainik Welfare Department, J&K, Col (retd) JDS Kotwal, along with his staff visited Jandrah area of Jammu and attended the problems of Ex-servicemen, widows, war widows and their dependents.
A large number of Ex-servicemen, war widows, widows and their next of kin from far flung areas of Jammu visited the spot to putforth their problems in front of ZSWO.
Kotwal spoke to the gathering regarding the revised schemes and welfare measures being extended by the Central and State Governments. Latest policy/ recruitment letters received from Army Headquarters/other agencies were also informed to the gathering.
All other general enquiries of the Ex-servicemen and widows were clarified on the spot and all relevant documentation done.
