JAMMU, May 31: Principal Maharaja Hari Singh Agricultural Collegiate (MHAC) School Nagbani has been fraudulently booked in sexual harassment case by one of the teacher of the institution.
This was stated by SK Bedi, Supervisory Head, MHACS Nagbani during a press conference here today.
Bedi was accompanied by Sunita Jamwal, Supervisory Head, MHACS Nagabai, Poonam Mahajan, PRT, Anju Malhotra, TGT, Ajay Bharti Sharma, TGT and large number of teachers and staff members of the school.
She stated that that the charges levelled against the Principal by a school teacher are completely fabricated as the teacher is having some vested interest and is pressurizing him with the help of police.
She disclosed that the same kind of allegation was levelled by her against the Principal in 2014, which proved false after the monitoring of the CCTV footage by police. The said teacher at that time had withdrawn her complaint.
Bedi added that the said teacher had joined school in 2006 and since then she was creating chaos among the staff members and even the parents also by leveling baseless allegations. She often used to remain on prolong leave by informing telephonically which is against the norms of the school, Bedi maintained.
She said that the teacher was also served with notices couple of time and had apologized too adding that all the female teachers and other staff of the school will file a complaint to their Head Office against the said teacher for termination of her services as she is defaming the name of their prestigious institution for her vested interests.
It is to mention that, Principal MHAC School, Nagbani Alok Betab was booked by Domana police under FIR number 158/2016 under Section 509 and 506 RPC for sexual harassment of one of the school’s teacher.
