SAMBA, May 31: 38th Bn of Central Reserve Police Force, Smailpur, Samba, organized Civic Action Programme -2016, here at Government Primary School Cheer Khud, wherein newly constructed toilet block was handed over to the school.
On the occasion, the CRPF also distributed books, computers and sports items to the children of Govt HSS Smailpur, Primary and High School Bodhori, Govt GHS Suchani and Govt MS Raya.
O P Bhagat, Chief Education Officer Samba, formally inaugurated the function in this regard.
On the occasion, Ranbir Singh Jaggi, Commandant- 38 Bn, CRPF; Dy Comdt. J P Sharma; Neelam Kaninwal, Dy.Comdt. and other officers were present along with the village Sarpanch Jagdish Singh Slathia, Yogeshwar Singh and others.
The CEO Samba appreciated the work of CRPF for uplifting the standard of the schools.
CRPF Dy Commandant Anil Kumar, Dy Commandant Puran Singh, Principal Ved Parkash Thapa, Principal Shoba, Gulam Kadir, Mohammad Yunus, teachers, children and villagers were also present on the occasion.
