JAMMU, June 1: In a complaint filed by Mumtaz Ahmed and others against Choudhary Lal Singh, Forest Minister for his alleged objectionable remarks against Gujjars, City Judge Jammu, M S Manhas today directed the IGP Jammu to conduct inquiry.
After hearing Advocate Vijay Parihar appearing for the applicants, the court observed, “it is proper to send this complaint in terms of Section 202 CrPC to IGP for conducting inquiry”, adding “the outcome of the inquiry shall be submitted to this court within period of one month”.
