REASI, June 3: Deputy Commissioner Reasi, Ravinder Kumar today chaired a meeting of the representatives of NHPC, AFCONS, IRCON Konkan Railways, Northern Railways and others to discuss various issues related to Corporate Social responsibility (CSR).
Speaking at the meeting, the DC asked the Corporate Companies to assess and take responsibility for the effects on environment and social well-being. He urged them to promote positive social and environment change and asked them not to dump debris along the road sides and in the fields of the locals. He further directed them to take social responsibility and provide employment opportunities to the locals for raising their economic status.
Later, he also chaired a meeting to review physical and financial performance of PMGSY and issues related to land acquisition.
