JAMMU, June 6: A youth was critically injured when he allegedly shot himself with 12 bore rifle in this winter capital of the State.
“One Maheshwar Singh Charak (24) son of Sumer Singh, resident of 24 New Rehari, late last night received critical injury when he allegedly shot himself at his residence with 12 bore rifle,” a police spokesman said.
He said that the victim was rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where he was operated upon. “His condition was stated to be stable”, he added.
A case in this connection was registered at concerned police station and further investigations were underway.
