Srinagar, June 6: Gov-ernment today said the National Health Mission (NHM) guidelines doesn’t provide for regularisation of contractually engaged workers under NRHM.
In a written reply to a question of MLA Daleep Singh Parihar in Lower House, the Minister Incharge Health and Medical Education, said as per the guidelines of NHM, the services of NHM manpower are hired purely on contractual basis and their contracts are being renewed every year after appraisal of the performance.
“NHM don’t provide for regularisation of such contractually engaged workers,” the Minister stated.
