100 more mobile schools for J&K: Govt

Srinagar, June 6: Gov-ernment today said it has initiated the process of providing 100 additional Primary Mobile Schools in the State.
In a written reply to a question of MLA Mian Altaf Ahmad in Lower House, Minister Incharge Education said the department has initiated the process of providing 100 additional Primary Mobile Schools (65 in Jammu Division and 35 in the Kashmir Division) in the State.
“The requirement has been worked out as per ST population of 2011 census. The locations are under finalization in consultation with the tribal Affairs Department,” added the Minister.
