JAMMU, June 6: Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM), Katra, Neelam Khajuria today ordered suspension of 10 Government officials of Community Health Centre (CHC), Katra and Municipal Committee, Katra including three doctors and issued warning to a Block Medical Officer (BMO) for unauthorized absence from duty.
During surprise inspection of the CHC and Municipal Committee, Katra, the SDM found 10 officials including four doctors of the CHC and two of the Municipal Committee unauthorizedly absent from duty.
BMO Dr Gopal Dutt, who was on unauthorized absence from duty, was given warning while nine other officials of the CDC Katra were placed under suspension. They included Dr Nitin Gupta, Dr Deepak Sharma, Dr Priya Gupta, Savita Devi and Sunaina Akhter, both Female Multi Purpose Health Workers (FMPHWs), Sushil Jandal, X-Ray Technician, Subash Manhas, Dental Supervisor, Ram Lal, Lab Technician and Vijay Kumar, Nursing Orderly.
Two officials of Municipal Committee, Katra, who were suspended for their absence from duty, included Sudershan Singh, Secretary Municipal Committee Katra and Nitin Sharma, Sanitary Inspector.
