UDHAMPUR, Sept 20: Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Western Command Air Marshal Arup Raha arrived on two-day visit of the Command here today.
Accompanied by Lily Raha, president Air Force Wives Welfare Association, he was received by senior Air Force officers at the air base. He will interact with the Army Commander, Northern Command Lt Gen K T Parnaik, Air Officer Commanding Hq J&K and other senior IAF officers. He is also likely to visit Air Force Unit located at Nathatop and interact with air warriors posted there.
This is the first visit of Air Marshal Raha to this premier Helicopter base after taking over as AOC-in-C Western Air Command. This base is of vital importance for Air-maintenance and support to the troops in forward areas of Northern sector.
