LONDON, June 8: Grammy-winning musician John Legend says he is juggling between finishing an album and reading scripts for his TV productions.
The 37-year-old launched his “Get Lifted Film Company” in 2011, and the business is doing well, but fans should not expect the star to forfeit making music as his production career takes off, reported Contact Music.
“I’m not giving up my day job, I’m finishing an album now, I’ll tour on it and do all the things I’ve always done,” Legend said.
“But I have a great (production) team, and all of us have a mandate to try to tell great stories and make the world a more interesting place by getting those stories out there. So while I’m on the road, I’ll be reading scripts,” he said.
Some of the screenplays he’ll be reading are for episodes of “Get Lifted”, his current TV project. (PTI)
