I am writing in connection with JKCET 2016 which is supposed to be held on 31st July 2016. Last time during the filling up of online application forms, the candidates were supposed to upload their permanent resident certificates. However, there was no option for uploading of the underprocess certificates for PRC. Due to this, a large number of candidates whose PRCs were underprocess were deprived of applying for the exam.
Therefore, it is requested to the authorities to accept underprocess certificates for PRCs so that no student suffers this time. And I request the authorities to provide alternatives like underprocess certificates, father’s PRC, Aadhar card (as it clearly shows the state of domicile of a person). It is further requested that the issue is taken note of, as it involves the career of a number of students from the State.
