JAMMU, June 10: The Government today posted five new Superintendents of Police (SPs) in the State Vigilance Organization (SVO) and withdrew an equal number from the Organization and asked them to report to the Home Department for further postings.
According to an official order issued today by the General Administration Department (GAD), five SSPs and SPs, who have been posted in the Vigilance Organization including Abdul Qayoom, Commandant, IR 12th battalion, Javed Iqbal Mattoo, Staff Officer to Additional DGP Armed, Shabir Nawab, Additional SP Kulgam, Amit Gupta, Staff Officer to Additional DGP Security and Shiv Kumar Chauhan, Deputy Commandant, IRP 56h battalion.
While posting five SSPs and SPs to the Vigilance Organization, the GAD has withdrawn an equal number of SSPs posted in the Vigilance Organization.
They included Sameer Rekhi, Koushal Kumar Sharma, Rupinder K Chalotra, Nisha Nathyal and Mohammad Yaseen Kichloo. They will report in the Home Department for further postings.
