2 held for appearing in 10th class exam in place of other students

SRINAGAR, June 11:
Two students were today held who were appearing in place of two other students in the tenth class examination in the south Kashmir district of Shopian, an official spokesman said here this evening.
He said Deputy Commissioner, Shopian, conducted a surprise visit of 10th class examination centre at Mohammadia Institute Shopian. During the inspection, two students Suhail Ahamd Ganie a resident of Chanapora and Shahzad Yousuf Ganaie a resident of Meemender Shopian were taking examination in place of of Basit Ahamd Ganie, a resident of Chanapora and Saiful Bashir, son of Bashir Ahamd Ganie, resident of Meemender, Shopian.
Both the candidates were handed over to the board authorities for further necessary action. The DC has recommended cancellation of the examination in the above centre. (UNI)
