JAMMU, June 11: Police arrested three persons along with Rs 50,300 stake money and playing cards from a park, falling under the jurisdiction of Gandhi Nagar police station.
As per police sources, a team from Gandhi Nagar police station conducted raid in a park and arrested three persons along with Rs 50,300 stake money and playing cards.
The accused have been identified as Suram Chand, son of Om Parkesh of Udhampur, Balwinder Singh, son of Kuldeep Singh of Rani Bagh and Charanjeet Singh alias Rajat, son of Mohinder Singh of Model Town Digiana.
A case under Gambling Act has been registered at Gandhi Nagar police station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Gandhi Nagar Inspector Bishnesh Kumar made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO South Sachin Gupta and SP South Shaazad Salaria.
