SAMBA, June 11: The irate residents of Dhayansar in Bari Brahmana today staged a demonstration in front of PDD office at Bari Brahmana in protest against the power failure in the village.
The protest was led by Vijay Singh NC activist and the protesters raising slogans against the PDD alleged that the village is without power for last five days after the local transformer developed a snag.
The protesters alleged that PDD authorities though approached a number of times failed to restore the transformer putting the people to many hardships in this hit Summer.
The protesters warned that they will intensify agitation and block NH in case transformer was not replaced by a new one immediately.
