Over Rs 1.61 crore goods traded across LoC

POONCH, Sep 21: Goods worth over Rs 1.61 crore were traded across the Line of Control (LoC) today at Chakan-Da-Bagh crossing point here, officials said.
As many as 25 trucks rolled out from the Trade Facilitation Centre (TFC) here to PoK, they said, adding these trucks carried bags of onions and bananas worth Rs 85,87,625.
From PoK, 11 trucks carrying bags of dry dates, mangoes, almonds, embroidery items and herbs worth Rs 75,42,611 entered India, they said.
Officials from both sides monitored transportation of these goods twice from 1300 hours to 1330 and 1630 hours to 1700 hours during the day. (PTI)
