DODA, Sept 21: Protest demonstration against the shifting of Sub District Hospital, Bhaderwah from the town to outskirts entered 10th day today.
Large number of people under the banner of Bhaderwah Hospital Bacho Manch led by its convener Ranbhir Mahas staged dharna in front of the gate of old hospital at Sari Bazaar.
Speaking on the occasion, Ranbhir Manhas lashed out at Health Minister and said that hospital has been shifted to new building constructed at three kilometers away from main town without taking people into the confidence.
He demanded that newly constructed building should be given the status of District Hospital and old hospital should be made functional as OPD. Another leader Ch Mohd Iqbal said that when Health Department started constructing new building in Dandi village, the people were informed that new building would be super specialty hospitality.
Bhaderwah Hospital Bacho Manch is organising an emergency meeting tomorrow in which leaders of different parties are likely to meet. In the meeting future course of action will be decided.
