KATRA, June 18: Katra Police today arrested a bootlegger and seized 39 pouches of liquor from his possession.
Acting on a specific input, a Police team headed by SHO Katra, Inspector Sanjeev Sharma, intercepted Mukesh Kumar of Pura Chak, Satwari, who was on way from Jammu towards Katra.
During the frisking, Police team recovered 39 poly pouches of J&K Excise liquor from his possession. The accused person was arrested and recovered pouches of liquor were seized.
In this connection, a case FIR No. 108/2016 U/S 48-A Excise Act, 188/RPC has been registered at P/S Katra.
