JAMMU, June 20: Surprise checking was carried out in Patyari Kanwal area by staff of Electric Maintenance and Rural Electrification, Sub Division Bari Brahmana inspection team led by JE under the supervision of AEE Sunil Kumar. Inspection team included JE Vaid AE TR Sharma meter readers Mohan, Darahan, Jia Lal and others were also escorted by police.
Total 135 number installations were checked and all the illegal connections were disconnected. During the raid 12 connection were regularized, dozens of heaters were lifted and other heating load was disconnected. People were warned to use legal connections only and that too as per their registered load failing which strict action will be taken against defaulters.
