JAMMU, June 21: BJP veteran LK Advani will visit Leh on June 23 to join ‘Sindhu Darshan’ festival.
It was Advani, who during his tenure as Home Minister of India in Atal Behari Vajpayee regime, had revived the concept of ‘Sindhu Darshan’ in 1997 and since then the festival is held every year for three-days starting on full Moon Day (Guru Purnima).
The festival is held on the banks of river Sindhu.
Deputy Chief Minister Dr Nirmal Singh will receive Advani in Leh on June 23.
Advani will return to the Union capital the same day.
