JAMMU, June 22: Jugal Kishore Sharma, Member of Parliament Jammu, along with Regional Executive Director Airport, Rakesh Kalra and Director Airport, D K Goutam, today inaugurated new arrival point at Jammu Airport.
With the inauguration of new arrival terminal, the Jammu Airport has extended its facilities to the people and passengers. The project costs Rs 75 crore.
Director Airport informed that that the new terminal is embedded with modern techniques and conveyor belts of bigger length to move on more luggages for the convenience of the passengers. He sought more cooperation of the Jammu people and others to sort out the remaining issues so that the balance work of the expansion project is also done at the earliest.
Speaking on the occasion, Jugal Kishore said that with the completion of new arrival terminal, a long pending demand of Jammu people has been fulfilled by Central Government and Airport Authority of India. He also encouraged the Director Airport, D K Goutam for putting his deeds to fulfill the work in short span of time.
Senior BJP leader Vikram Randhawa, district president BJP Baldev Singh Billawaria, Vinay Gupta, Sarpanch Gadigarh Vijay, Ashok Khajuria and others were also present on the occasion.
