CM urged to extend Tawi River Front Project to Baba Bhair Dev Sthan

JAMMU, June 22: Baba Bhair Dev Sthan Trust today appealed  Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti to increase the area of proposed plan for conservation of Tawi river front from the present place Nagrota to Dev Sthan Baba Bhair.
Talking to media persons, here today, general secretary of the Dev Sthan Trust, Ramesh Sharma said that the agreement signed between JDA and Sabarmati River Front Development Corporation Ltd should increase its area of beautification of Tawi river front to Dev Sthan Bhair Dev in view of religious and historical importance of this pilgrim spot.
Sharma lamented the fact that in spite of lakh of pilgrims visiting the holy Dev-sthan annually, the development of the place did not catch attention of public representatives of previous regimes.
He also demanded construction of two and half kms road from Katal Batal to Dev Sthan, setting of a picnic cum cultural sport in the vicinity and also construction of all weather sheds for pilgrims visiting the Dev Sthan.
