JAMMU, June 22: A man today allegedly committed suicide by hanging in Nanak Nagar area in outskirts of this winter capital of the State.
“A man identified as Babu Ram (55) son of Paras Ram, resident of Sector-8, Nanak Nagar, was found hanging this morning with an iron pipe at his residence, by his family members”, a police spokesman said, adding no suicide note or any other document was recovered from the site of the incident.
He said that the body of the deceased was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, for post mortem. “Investigations under relevant sections have been initiated at police station Gandhi Nagar, he added.
