1563 revenue matters settled in different Special Revenue Camps in Srinagar

SRINAGAR: As many as 1563 revenue matters were settled in the third round of Special Revenue Camps held in Srinagar, an official spokesperson said here today.
He said on the instructions of Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti to provide services to the people, third round of Special Revenue Camps was held in Srinagar, in which camps were organised at seven locations to provide services to the people at their doorsteps.
The spokesperson further said that 1563 Revenue matters were settled, which included attestation of 238 Mutations. Besides, 751 Permanent Residence Certificates were also prepared.
”In addition, 233 Income Certificates, seven Property Certificates, 101 Revenue Extracts and 227 other Revenue-related matters and six Social Caste certificates were issued on the spot,” he added.
The District Administration decided that such Special Camps will be organised in future in all the Tehsils of District Srinagar, so that genuine grievances of the people are redressed on the spot. In the first round of Special Revenue Camps, 1737 cases were settled on the spot, while in the second round, 1113 cases were settled. (AGENCIES)
