Cabinet approves creation of 59 posts in Advocate General’s office

SRINAGAR: The State Cabinet today sanctioned creation of 59 posts under various categories in the Advocate General office.

An official spokesperson said that the Cabinet, which met here under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti, accorded sanction to the creation of 59 posts of various categories in the office of the Advocate General, J&K.

He said the posts include five posts of Senior Scale Stenographer (9300-34800+GP 4600), two posts of Section Officer (9300-34800+GP 4600), seven posts of Legal Assistant (9300-34800+GP 4280), 10 posts of Junior Legal Assistant (9300-34800+GP 4200).

“Four posts of Head Assistant (9300-34800+GP 4200), 06 posts of Junior Scale Stenographer (9300-34800+GP 4200), five posts of Senior Assistant (5200-20200+GP 2400), 15 posts of Junior Assistant (5200-20200+GP 1900) and 05 posts of orderly (4440-7440+GP 1300) were also created,” he added.       Meanwhile, in another decision, the Cabinet accorded sanction to the creation of 08 posts of Research Assistant to assist the High Court Judges in discharging their judicial function on a consolidated remuneration of Rs 15000 per month.
