Jammu, June 24: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Railway J&K Mohammad Sulaiman Salaria today granted in-situ promotions to 7 Head Constables (HCs) and 30 Selection Grade Constables (SgCts) as a part of promotion policy and to encourage workmanship in cadre.
The in-situ grade promotion have been granted to those, who have completed 9 years of satisfactory service in one rank in the Police Department and were found eligible for their in-situ promotion.
The said promotions were earlier approved by the Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) of Railway Police Headquarters J&K in pursuance to Police Headquarters J&K.
IGP Railways J&K hoped that the promotee will work hard to serve the people and the department with the same zeal and dedication in future as well.
