Open J&K Bank branch, treasury at Chiralla: Niaz

DODA, June 24:  Former Minister and senior Congress leader Mohammed Sharief Niaz  has said that villages of Bhaderwah constituency namely Bachhara, Binola, Bajja, Sewa and Puneja  have no facility of  bank and demanded  J&K bank branch and Treasury  at  Tehsil /block headquarter, Chiralla.
While addressing public gathering in Chairala area of Bhaderwah constituency today,  Niaz said that in this regard he has submitted a representation to the  Finance Minister for opening up bank branch and Government treasury.
Niaz said that all Tehsil offices should be opened at Chiralla and demanded construction of new Tehsil/Block buildings for smooth functioning. He also demanded that protection bund along Chiralla Nala and Bajja Nalla near Chiralla bazar be sanctioned at an earliest to avoid any damage caused by heavy rains .
He further said that drinking water at Ghingrani, Panthan and SC  Basti Hangona and Bhatan be provided; second phase of Prem Nagar  Hangona (Panthan) drinking water lift scheme be constructed at an earliest and drinking water at Panthan be distributed judiciously among the inhabitants.
Niaz also demanded that link road from Bhella to Ghardal and  Ghingrani link roads be improved. Bhella, Parnot, Puneja, Sunar Thawa, Rokali, Gosti PMGSY roads be improved and construction of Panthan Hangona, Chaksoo Sharni to Sewa NABARD road from Puneja to Bangla Nala Shrine Jagota be completed at an earliest.
