Srinagar, June 24: Government today said it had notified 5080 posts including 1059 gazetted and 4021 non gazetted posts for recruitment under fast track basis in the State since June, 2015.
In a written reply to a question of MLA Omar Abdullah in Lower House, Minister incharge GAD stated that under the fast track policy, 1059 gazetted posts of lecturers were notified for recruitment and 4021 non gazetted posts of different categories have been referred to the service selection board under fast track policy since June, 2015.
“For non gazetted posts which were referred to SSB 237 selections have already been made and interviews for 1763 posts have been conducted. For gazetted posts of lecturers the written test will be conducted on June 5, 2016,” the Minister stated.
The Minister further stated that out of 1219 gazetted vacancies pertaining to Health, Education, R& B and PHE sectors referred to PSC during last three years, selections for 1033 posts have been made. “Out of 11780 non gazetted vacancies referred to SSB during this period, 14024 selections have been made which include posts referred to SSB prior to this period,” the Minister said.
