11 of two families injured in clash

JAMMU, June 24: Eleven persons of two families were injured today in Nagrota area of city outskirts when they clashed with each other over some land dispute.
According to a police spokesperson, over some land dispute, two families of Shiba locality in Nagrota engaged in a scuffle over some land dispute and soon all the members of both the families including man, women and even children attacked each other over lathis and stones.
Total eleven persons from both the families were injured in clash and all were shifted to Government Hospital Sarwal from where they were later referred to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for treatment.
The injured have been identified as Gafoor (40) son of Sain, his daughter Shamim Akhter and son Naseeb Ali, besides Noor Ali son of Sab Din, his wife Sheeba Bibi and Jamat Ali son of Sab Din, Showat Ali son of Khatam Ali, Jamat Ali son of Sab Din, Sadiqa Bibi, Mohd Sadiq son of Jamat Ali and two others whose identity are known.
On the complaint of both the parties, Nagrota police has registered two separate cases and investigation started.
