JAMMU, June 25: A young woman today succumbed to her burn injuries here at Government Medical College and Hospital.
According to a police spokesperson, the woman identified as Sapna Begum (22) wife of Abdul Rashid, a resident of Billawar, was shifted here at GMCH on June 16 after she suffered burn injuries at her residence due to unknown reasons.
Today during treatment, the woman succumbed to her injuries. The body of the deceased was shifted to mortuary room of the hospital for conducting post mortem.
The concerned police had taken cognizance of the matter.
