RAJOURI, June 27: The police arrested one person and seized nine bovine animals from his possession in Kandi area of district Rajouri today.
A police spokesman said that a police party from Kandi, led by SHO, Jahangir during naka on the road early hours today, intercepted two persons carrying nine bovine animals on foot. The police challenged them but one of them managed to escape. The police arrested his associate and seized all the nine animals.
Identified as Mohd Hamal, son of Rahim Ali from Kandi area, he had no valid document for the transportation of these milch animals. The police registered a case against the accused persons.
