Wheat declines on reduced offtake by flour mills

NEW DELHI, Sept 22: In restricted activity, wheat dara prices fell by Rs 10 per quintal in the wholesale grains market today on reduced offtake by flour mills against adequate supplies.
However, other grains continued to trade in a tight range in limited deals and settled around previous levels.
Marketmen said reduced offtake by flour mills against adequate stocks mainly helped wheat dara prices to trade lower.
In the national capital, wheat dara (for mills) declined by Rs 10 to Rs 1,540-1,550 per quintal. Atta chakki delivery followed suit and traded lower by Rs 15 to Rs 1,545-1,550 per 90 kg.
