JAMMU, June 29: Additional SP Udhampur Mohan Lal Kaith along with SHO Panchari Inspector Sanjay Abrol today visited picturesque village Panchari in Udhampur district to review law and order situation and had detailed inter-action with Panchayat members, Chowkidars and local people, who attended the meeting in large numbers.
Kaith, addressing the people, called upon them to remain vigil and inform police about any kind of movement of anti-national or anti-social elements.
Asserting that police was always at their disposal, the Additional SP said every matter brought to the notice of police would be thoroughly investigated and people informed accordingly.
In turn, the people informed the police officer about their problems which included poor road connectivity, distillation of illicit country liquor, irregular supply of water and electricity etc.
He assured the people that no one will be allowed to make illicit liquor and a drive against such persons will be launched.
Regarding other problems of the people, Kaith said they would be taken up with the concerned departments.
