Growing intolerance

Sir,
In India, non-violence fructified in the form of great Messiah’s of tolerance like Lord Budha and Mahavira, who preached and practised the principles of non violence throughout their lives.
Now the virus of religious intolerance, which is growing day  by day has polluted our young  minds,  who wait for an opportunity to desecrate our places of worship and thus create an atmosphere of ill will among different communities that is quite against the ethos of our country that preaches love for the nation and religious harmony among different races and religions. India is applauded for her basic principles of tolerance, religious harmony  throughout the globe being the largest democracy in the world.
If this growing religious intolerance remains unchecked at an early stage, it shall sap the vitals of this fast progressing nation.
It is advisable for the political parties of our country to give  up the gimmick of political vendatta and mudslinging, and should highlight their achievements for public welfare as envisages by our Prime Minister, “Sab ka vikas, Sab ka saath”, so that the flames of religious intolerance are doused for good and peace progress and prosperity is back on the wheels for which  so many well wishers of the nation laid down their lives during the freedom struggle with the motive of keeping the flame communal harmony alive for the ages to come.
Yours etc….
