JAMMU: District Administration today suspended Junior Engineer and withheld salaries of Executive Engineer and Assistant Executive Engineer of PHE Department in Ramban district.
Taking a serious notice of negligence in restoring supply of safe drinking water in Ramban town, DC Mohammad Aijaz placed Junior Engineer, PHE Ramban, Jagjeet Singh under suspension with immediate effect .
Meanwhile, salary of Executive Engineer PHE (Hydraulic) Ramban and Assistant Executive Engineer, Sub-Division, Ramban, Sandeep Singh is withheld till further order. ADDC Ramban has been asked to inquire into the matter involving the issue of public health. (AGENCIES)
