JAMMU, July 7: Two unidentified miscreants riding on a motorbike today overpowered a woman and snatched her gold chain in Nanak Nagar area, falling under the jurisdiction of Gandhi Nagar police station.
The victim hailing from Bikram Chowk area had gone to Nanak Nagar with some personal work, when the miscreants snatched her gold chain.
After snatching, the duo managed to escape from the spot riding a motorcycle without any resistance as there was no police presence in the area.
Later, the woman lodged a complaint with the Gandhi Nagar police station.
Police parties rushed to the spot but failed to trace the culprits. No arrest has been made so far till the reports last came in.
