SRINAGAR, July 7: Army today launched an operation against militants after they said that their patrol party was fired upon in Mawar area of Langate in North Kashmir.
Reports said that an Army’s patrol party of 30 RR at Batgund Mawar in Langate area of Handwara heard few firing shots.
Army immediately cordoned off the area and conducted search operation but didn’t find any militant presence.
However, police is ascertaining the facts about the firing on the patrol party.
