JAMMU, July 8: A permanent Lok Adalat held today in Bank Court, Jammu under the supervision of District and Sessions Judge, Jammu, Sanjay Gupta, settled 13 cases including Post Litigation and Pre Litigation.
The bench was comprised of Additional District Judge (Bank cases), Jammu, Ashok Kumar Shavan and Shahzad Azeem, Presiding Officer, District Consumer Forum, Jammu.
In the Lok Adalat, a total of 37 cases including both Pre Litigation and Post Litigation were taken up out of which 11 Post Litigation and 2 Pre Litigation cases were disposed off. The total recovery realized from defaulters of Post Litigation cases was Rs 1, 26, 99, 779.
Besides, litigants, advocates also participated in the Lok Adalat.
