One killed, three injured in two road mishaps

JAMMU, July 8: An 18-year-old youth was killed while three others were injured in two separate road mishaps in city outskirts.
According to a police spokesman, a youth identified as Sahil son of Balkrishan, resident of Jandial (Gharota) along with his friend Sagar Sharma (18) son of Romesh Chander, resident of Jandial, was going on their bike when a Tata Mobile hit their two-wheeler at Thathi, tonight.
In the mishap, both Sahil and Sagar received serious injuries. They were immediately rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where Sahil were declared as brought dead by the doctors while the condition of Sagar was stated to be stable when the last reports came in.
At Chowki Choura area in Akhnoor, a Santro car turned turtle resulting into injuries to two occupants of the vehicle. The injured identified as Kasturi Lal (53) son of Sita Ram and his daughter, Radhika Gupta (24) were shifted to GMCH for treatment.
In both cases, the concerned police had taken cognizance of the matter.
