SRINAGAR, July 10: Governor N N Vohra has expressed grief over the sad demise of Prof Fida Hassnain, former Director Archives and a noted Kashmiri writer and historian.
In a message of condolence, the Governor has prayed for the peace to the departed soul and conveyed his sympathies to the bereaved family.
Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti has also condoled the demise of Prof Hassnain.
In her condolence message, the Chief Minister said Prof Hassnain would be remembered long for his vast treasure of literary works and his academic insight especially on the history of Jammu and Kashmir.
