Gupta inaugurates water cooler at Mohalla Paharian

JAMMU, July 12: MLA Rajesh Gupta inaugurated a water cooler here at Mohalla Paharian for the residents of the area.
Rajesh Gupta was accompanied by various officials including XEn JMC  Joginder, Health Officer Dr Zafar Iqbal, AEE PDD, Ritnesh Puri, JE Tangroo and JE Ravinder Singh.
The members of Mohalla Paharian Bazaar Traders’ Association as well as members of Lower Mohalla Paharian Bazaar Traders’ were also present on the occasion.
While speaking on the occasion, the MLA said that Jammu at the moment is host to thousands of Amarnath yatris and it is our bounden duty to make their stay in the City of temples, a memorable one.
Gupta expressed his satisfaction at the early resumption of the Yatra after a brief stoppage and suggested the yatris to also visit other areas of touristic and religious significance like Shiv Khori and Sudh Mahadev.
He gave on the spot instructions to the PDD Department to change the wires of Paharian Mohalla and its adjoining lanes by laying cable wires. Instructions were also given to the Xen JMC to change all the tiles of Paharian Mohalla. The Health Officer of JMC, Dr Zafer Iqbal was asked to deploy more safai karamcharis in the area for better sanitation.
Raj Tilak Road Traders’ Association president, Ramesh Gupta, also joined the MLA and raised the issues of development in the area.
