SRINAGAR : A yatri from Uttar Pradesh (UP) and a local diver were killed and 28 pilgrims were injured in a road accident on Srinagar-Jammu national highway in South Kashmir today.
Official sources said that a vehicle, carrying pilgrims collided with another vehicle at Bijbehara on the highway resulting in on spot death of a yatri Pramod Kumar of UP and local driver Bilal Ahmad, a resident of Ganderbal.
They said 28 pilgrims were also injured in the accident who were rushed to local hospital from where some of them have been referred to Srinagar. (AGENCIES)
