JAMMU, July 15: Shiv Sena Bala Sahib Thackeray has expressed serious concern over the deteriorating law and order situation in Kashmir valley.
Addressing a joint conference here today, Sena president Dimpy Kohli and its general secretary G I Singh said that State is passing through a very critical situation and Coalition Government was responsible for the deteriorating situation in Kashmir as it failed to handle the situation after the killing of dreaded terrorist Burhan Wani in an encounter.
Dimpy Kohli said that Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti must isolate and identify such mischievous and anti-national elements who are bent upon destabilizing the State. She must take strict action against those anti-national and separatist forces who are provoking innocent youth for gaining political mileage, he added.
He accused the separatist of doing politics over the dead bodies of innocent misguided youth. Government of Jammu & Kashmir and Union Government must abandon the lenient policy towards such anti-national elements who are destroying the State like termites. It is need of the hour to frame strong and strict policy for containing these destructive and divisive forces who are inciting and provoking people at the behest of Pakistan, he added.
He said immediate normalization of law and order situation in Kashmir valley is very imperative. Shiv Sena also appealed all main stream political parties and public to cooperate with State Government in restoring normalcy in Kashmir valley and also appeal parents of misguide youth who are pelting stones not to participate in such demonstrations so that there may be no further loss of precious lives. Shiv Sena also expressed grave concern over the safety and security of Shri Amarnath yatris.
He urged State Government to make elaborate arrangements for the smooth and safe yatra and also return of stranded Yatris to Jammu. He also condemn attack on Kashmiri Pandits package employees and demanded security and safety for them.
State vice president Sandeep Bhagat, Rajan Gupta, Narinder Dev Chunni, Raj Singh and others were also in press conference.
