Srinagar, July 16: All India Congress Committee general secretary (AICC), Ambika Soni and former Union Minister Salman Khursheed are arriving here on Sunday amid ongoing unrest.
A Congress spokesman said the duo is scheduled to meet general public, party workers, Congress legislators and others. “The leaders are also scheduled to meet media fraternity,” the spokesman added.
The visit of senior Congress leaders is coming at a time when Kashmir Valley is undergoing unprecedented unrest that has left dozens of civilians dead after killing of Hizbul Mujahideen commander Burhan Wani.
